Post Head Lice Treatment Cleaning Checklist
What To Clean
- Dispose of all combs, hairbrushes and hair accessories immediately.
- What to vacuum
- Mattresses (afterwards, flip over if possible)
- Rugs and Carpets
- Car Seats
- Chairs and Couches
- Pillows from bed or couch
- Textile toys such as stuffed animals
- What to wash (Wash and dry at normal temperature settings)
- Clothing
- Bedding
- Hats and scarves
- Bath Towels
- Dry clean what is not washable
- What cannot be washed or dry-cleaned should either be placed in a sealed plastic bag for 4 weeks or placed in the freezer for 2 weeks.
Ways to prevent lice
- Spray a drop of the Lice Busters All Natural Lice Prevention Spray on to the hair, every time after coming out of the shower. (Wet or Dry Hair)
- Comb when you have a chance, this way you wont be caught off guard.
- Hair should always be picked up.
- Don’t share hats or scarves with friends.
