What steps should be taken after treatment?
All items, such as bedding, clothes, hats, and plush toys, must be washed. Furniture, mattresses, rugs and other items require a thorough vacuuming. Soak items like brushes and combs in ammonia for at least 5 minutes. Other items can be placed into an airtight bag for a minimum of two weeks to completely smother the remaining parasites.
